3D-Scanning
LODAHL offers precise and accurate 3D-scanning which forms the basis for proper design.
By using 3D-scanning as the basis for design, a number of advantages are achieved.
• Scans are downloaded to the client’s 3D-tools (PDM’s, PD’s, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Scans are “as built.” Everything is within an accuracy of +/- 2 mm.
• You can connect or combine the new design directly to the custom components in the scan.
•New designs can be loaded into the scan to check for compatibility with existing equipment.
• The design process can take place anywhere in the world as there is no need for the designer be on location of the facility.
If a project is based on 3D-scanning that is supplemented with dimension control, we guarantee that all prefabricated items can be installed without any modifications.
